Vicky is a Professional Health Coach certified through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. She is a graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in NYC. Vicky is passionate about promoting health and happiness by supporting individuals who want to transition from the Standard American Diet to a healthy lifestyle that may also include a gluten-free diet (her specialty). Having overcome her own gluten and food allergy challenges, Vicky is committed to helping people rediscover their own health and happiness by making small but meaningful changes to their diets and lifestyles.
As a healthy lifestyle entrepreneur, Vicky works with individuals and families to give them the support they need to move from a diet comprised of processed foods to one of whole foods lovingly prepared in their own kitchen! Vicky is passionate about eating simple foods and she believes healthy eating should be a way of life, not a fad diet or something we do only when we want to lose weight.
Vicky is quite knowledgeable about the struggles one encounters when moving to a healthy lifestyle. Her path from Hostess Ho Ho loving accountant to a Professional Health Coach has been a bumpy one! After the birth of her child, she suddenly found herself suffering from allergies, including an intense reaction to gluten. In the course of finding ways to control her allergies, she upgraded the quality of her food choices and developed a gluten-free specialization. After first transitioning to store-bought gluten-free alternatives, she began to realize just how unsatisfying, processed, and sugar laden many of those gluten-free foods were. Vicky got busy in the kitchen and created some fabulous gluten-free alternatives. Now she knows that with the right tools and gluten-free recipes, living gluten-free does not mean that you have to feel restricted or deprived. Vicky creates meals and recipes that showcase nature’s abundant flavors and that leave you feeling fabulous and satisfied.
Vicky cherishes the simpler times of her youth. She loves all things vintage and aspires to bring back some of the fabulous rituals and traditions that are centered around preparing and eating whole foods. She educates her clients on the amazing benefits of eating simple foods and the need for self care. Through health coaching sessions, her clients are empowered with the knowledge and confidence to get back in their kitchens. Some added benefits ~ her clients have slimmed down and have gotten their “happy” back!
Vicky loves to teach as well as prepare foods that nourish her family and friends. She volunteers with Cooking Matters and she is currently studying to become a Certified Biofeedback Technician. Vicky is a coach and mentor to students of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.
